Parents Association

Welcome to the Stratford Preparatory School Parents Association (SPSPA) page. When you register with the school, you automatically become a member of the Parents Association. Our Annual events include a Christmas Fayre, bi-annual quiz for parents, children's disco and family days for all to attend.

As well as promoting social participation, we also strive to raise money for our children. This is then used to provide equipment to enhance their learning.

The association is managed by an ever increasing committee of volunteer parents. Each class has a representative whose job is to inform parents of forthcoming events and meetings. Everyone is welcome to come to the regular update meetings which are held once a month. The year starts with the AGM which is held in September.

If you would like to volunteer your time and enthusiasm, please e-mail or phone the School Secretary.

The Parents Association would like to inform you of the new Committee roles within the SPSPA for this school year. These are:

Mrs Susan Hunter - Chair

Mrs Emma Rogers - Deputy Chair

Mrs Claire Love - Secretary

Mrs Helen Shayler - Treasurer.

Before the end of this term, the SPSPA are holding a couple of events for you to attend if you wish.

The first one is a Quiz, being held on Tuesday 27th June at The Windmill Pub, Church Street. The evening starts at 8pm and if there are enough people we also plan to hold a raffle.  Mr Musk has kindly agreed to be our Quiz Master for the evening and I hope that some of you will come along and join us for what promises to be an evening of fun and entertainment. Tickets are just £2.00 each. Please do get in touch with Susan Hunter if you would like to put your name down.

The second event is a coffee morning on Friday 23rd June from 8.30am onwards in the dining room. This is a chance to come along and enjoy some coffee and cake and meet up with other parents. We would be delighted to see you.

The SPSPA AGM is being held on Thursday 14th September at 7pm in the School Dining Hall. Please do come along and join us, you would be most welcome.
