Pupils enjoy the joy of a live school production of Alice the Musical
Stratford Prep's Junior pupils (aged 7 to 11) showed their incredible resilience by putting on a fabulous show of Alice the Musical for the end of term drama production - despite early rehearsals being disrupted by Covid.

The children auditioned for the individual roles but it was very much a whole school production. Many children helped design the props and scenery, ably supported by talented art teacher Shonad McDermott, while others not in the show were there to cheer their friends on at the sell-out production.

Charlotte, who took the lead role as Alice, said: "It was so exciting I loved it!"

Headmistress Tracey Woodcock, who took on this role only at the beginning of the academic year, was delighted with the final outcome.

"All the children were so delighted and excited to take part," she said.
"Their effort, creativity and hard work definitely paid off. It was a real success and I was so proud of them all."
