Junior 3
Dear Parents,
Week beginning 06/09/19
The J3's are working really hard now. They are trying their best to work with good focus and to be helpful and knid to one another.
This is a very pleasing start.
Thank you to all of the children who volunteered to be Librarians. There were 9 in total and so they will take turns to help the younger children to select suitable library books, to read them a story in the library club and to be respnsible for the tidiness of the library, replacing and cataloguing books. Thank you for your help in encouraging them to join in with clubs. Clubs are a good way to meet other children , form friendships and find out about their teachers other than in lesson times.
J3's are invited to represent the school at Open Days. If your child would like to do this please let me know by email. The next open day event is Saturday 21st September 10:00-12:30. Some children have already asked to come and help. They will be partnered with a J4 prefect . This is a very valuable tool for them to meet with and talk confidently to adults in a safe environment.
We are looking forward to sailing. Please remember to pack a plastic bag for wet clotes and at least 2 changes of dry clothes in case they fall in or get wet. We anticipate returning by 4:30.
