Classroom Blackboard Infant 3
Week Commencing Monday 11th February
Another very busy week in Infant 3!
In English we will be looking at syllables in Grammar. Our phonics focus will be c and ch sounds.
This week in Maths we will be continuing with decomposition. Please continue to practise the times tables at home - the children should be able to instantly recall 2,3,4,5,6 and 10's.
In Art & Design the children are making hot air balloons - we will be making the baskets this week and hopefully displaying them in the classroom.
Swimming as normal this week on Thursday afternoon.
When the children return from swimming they will be going to the Holy Trinity Church with Mrs Singleton as part of their R.E lesson.
I will be sending the words home this week for our Spring Concert song for the children to practise over half term.
French day on Friday (15th) - if I have not yet had your childs choice for a croissant or pain au chocolat , can you please see me or drop me an email. Thank you.
This term topics for Humanities and Science are 'Transport' and Materials'. Mrs Singleton will be taking Infant 3 to Gauydon Motor Museum on Wednesday 13th March to have a look at different types of transport through the ages.
Infant parenrts evening this term will be on Thursday 28th March.
Show & Tell this term will be with Mrs Singleton on a Friday morning. No toys please for Show & Tell.
I am in school every day with the exception of Friday.
