Dear Parents Week beginning 9th July
This week is the final week of the 2018 Summer Term. It has been a pleasure and a priviledge working with your children, They have taught me a lot of interesting things as I have grown to know them over the course of this year. In our weekly pastoral care lessons I have found out a great deal about riding, climbing, bellringing, lazer quest, paintballing, riding scooters, skateboards and segways, in fact I have leaned a lot about what J2 children like doing. I hope they will like going out into the garden as for their gift from me I have given each of them a little solar powered garden light and a wind sock. The idea c ame out of a disussion in RE about light being important in our lives and that the breath of god blows good things into us. I wish them all light and life and hope they have a well deserved rest over the summer holidays. Please remember there are no clubs in the last week of term.
This next week has the following highlights:-
Wednesday 11th New children's morning and 'move up morning' when the current J2's try out J3 for the morning and I will have the current J1's who will try ou J2.
Thursday 12th Speech Day at the Town Hall
Friday 13th Summer end of term service at Holy Trinity Church followed by breaking up for summer at 12.00 noon.
The Michaelmas Term begins on Wednesday 4th September.
Have a well deserved rest over the summer holidays and don't forget to get the children to fill in thier summer holiday diary / scrapbook, it is good to look back on a super holiday and to earn some well deserved house points too.
