Dear Parents Week beginning 1st April 2019
The J2 class were very pleased with their fairy tale performance for the Spring Concert. I was pleased with the way they entered in to the spirit of the stories and turned into their respective characters with such glee.
They have worked hard during the Lent Term and richly deserve the Easter holiday. I have been very pleased to see just how much they have each grown and changed as they mature. They are working on friendships, caring, being supportive of one another and using play time to increase their circle of friends with children in other classes.
The PSHE and Pastoral Care lessons have been encouraging them to work on respecting others, valuing different opinions and tolerance. They are all becoming super indivduals, good all-rounders and it has been a real pleasure working with them this term. I look forward to the Summer Term with J2.
I will be giving them each a small Easter egg to take home to thank them.
Our assembly topic is Keeping Safe and will cover all sorts of ways to stay safe, in the community, on-line, in the home as well as other useful areas Our charity this term is Young Minds, the mental health charity aimed at children and young people.
