Get in touch with us on

We accept pupils into all year groups, but our main points of entry are Nursery (for the age of 2 upwards), Reception and Year 3.

Following your initial enquiry, a member of our admissions team will be in touch to find out more about you and your child and answer any initial questions you may have. They can then arrange a personal tour of the school with Ms Scorah, the Deputy Head or Mr Preston, the Executive Headteacher, at a time that is convenient for you.

Your tour will provide you with an excellent insight into the caring and friendly environment we provide for our pupils. You will be able to see our teachers in action and ask questions you may have about the school day, curriculum and/or facilities.

In order to apply for a place at Stratford Preparatory School we ask for our registration form to be completed and returned along with the payment of our non-refundable registration fee.

In conjunction with the registration form, we ask what you provide us with a copy of your child's latest school report, a contact at your child's current setting from whom to request a school reference and any other supplementary information that you would like to include about your child.

Once registered, your child will be invited to spend the day with us. There really is no better way for your child to get a real feel for our school than to spend the day with us. We will place them in a class with their prospective peers and they will experience a day in the life of a Stratford Preparatory School pupil.

If your child's application to join Stratford Preparatory School is successful, an offer letter will be sent to you with our terms and conditions.

Places are confirmed once you have accepted your place, returned the terms and conditions and paid the required deposit.

Once your place has been confirmed, we will send you a welcome pack to ensure the smooth transition for you and your child into the SPS Community.

For those joining into Nursery we will arrange settling sessions for you to bring your child for short visits to familiarise yourselves and your child with our setting and our staff.

For those joining us into Reception, we hold an EYFS stay and play session in the Spring Term ahead of your child's start with us in September. We will also holding settling sessions in the summer term, where your child will join us for the sessions, meet their teacher, spend time in the classroom and playground and meeting their peers. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to start to familiarise themselves with SPS ahead of their start in September with us.

For those joining into other year groups across SPS, we will hold a transition day towards the end of the Summer Term ahead of your child's start with us in September. Your child will join us for the day, meet their teacher, spend time in the classroom and around the school and meet their peers.

Its an important time for you as a family and we will host events during the summer term for you to join us on site and meet other members of the SPS Community ahead of the September start.
